Ian has over 30 years experience in electricity and engineering. This includes senior roles with Energex as National Contracts Manager, Enertrade as Power Agreements Manager and a number of engineering companies in State Manager roles.
Ian is based in our Brisbane office and manages client energy supply contract negotiations. He also provides client briefings on energy market operations, environmental markets, industry regulations and market rules.
At EnergyAdvice, he has successfully developed and maintains our "Retailer Contract Acceptability Index", a comprehensive comparative assessment of the terms and conditions of all the retail contracts in the electricity market.
Ian is recognised as one of the most experienced advisors in the energy contracts and regulatory areas, and provides regular and ongoing advice to market participants and energy users on appropriate contractual terms.
